Celebrate Global Running Day with Us!

Join the Wetumpka Run Club and Main Street Wetumpka for a fun, community-focused run/walk in honor of Global Running Day! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just looking for a refreshing walk with friends, this event is all about moving together and celebrating being active.

To help everyone feel comfortable, we’ll offer three route options (1-Mile, 3-Mile, and 5-Mile), perfect for those who are new to running in the area or just exploring our downtown paths for the first time. Pick the route that feels right for you and enjoy the run (or walk!) your way.

Bring friends, family, and anyone who loves fresh air and good company. Let’s lace up, show up, and celebrate Global Running Day the Wetumpka way!

Witch way to downtown Wetumpka? Grab your friends and fly downtown for a spooktacular sip, shop, and stroll event!

On this special night, the streets will come alive as participants from all around gather in their most captivating witchy attire (dressing up is HIGHLY encouraged). With pointed hats, flowing capes, and mystical accessories, attendees will embrace the magical theme, adding to the event’s unique charm.

Wander through the charming streets of Downtown Wetumpka, where participating shops & restaurants will extend their hours to offer sips, exclusive deals, discounts, and one-of-a-kind treasures.

*Witch Hat Contest Entry is from 5-6 pm in the Alleyway 105 Company Street! Winner will be announced on Facebook on October 16th!

This event is geared towards adults. If you are looking for a trick-or-treating opportunity for kids, join the City of Wetumpka for the Coosa Candy Crawl at the Sports Complex!

Deals & seasonal specials will be a-plenty as you get a head start on holiday shopping during the Downtown Holiday Open House. We look forward to kicking off the holiday season with you in downtown Wetumpka! Please check with the individual businesses for specific times & promotions.
