ABOUT YOUR MAIN STREET
Mission Statement: Wetumpka Downtown DBA Main Street Wetumpka is an independent, non-profit organization seeking to bring economic vitality to downtown Wetumpka.
Main Street Wetumpka is proud to be an accredited Main Street America™ program. Main Street Wetumpka’s performance is annually evaluated by Main Street Alabama, which works in partnership with Main Street America to identify the local programs that meet rigorous national performance standards such as, fostering strong public-private partnerships, supporting small and locally owned businesses, and actively preserving historic places, spaces, and cultural assets.
As an independent, nonprofit organization, Main Street’s mission is to revitalize its once-bustling downtown business district through a proven four-point approach. Using the principles of design, promotion, organization, and economic vitality. Main Street will preserve the historic integrity and charm of its downtown by empowering its community of business owners and residents through education, inspiration, and dedicated improvement of its ever-evolving spaces.
