2018 Annual Board Nominations

August 2018

To the Members of Main Street Wetumpka:

Community involvement is the lifeblood of our organization, and we appreciate your commitment to downtown revitalization. Each year, we have the opportunity to elect director positions that are expiring at the end of our fiscal year, which is September 30. This year, we have two expiring slots and the board recently voted to expand our board of directors by two additional board members, making four board of director slots available.

Members of Wetumpka Downtown, Inc., D/B/A Main Street Wetumpka, have the opportunity to nominate a person to run for each of these four available positions. Simply email the name(s) of nominee(s) to info@mainstreetwetumpka.org or mail the names to Main Street Wetumpka, P. O. Box 815, Wetumpka, AL 36092. All persons nominated must be a Wetumpka Downtown member in good standing. The nomination must be sent to the Main Street office by Friday, August 31. Any nominations received after that date will not be considered.

All nominations received timely will be included on a voting ballot which will be sent on Monday, September 3, via email to vote electronically. The voting deadline is Monday, September 10.  The results of the voting for the four director positions will be announced at the Main Street Wetumpka Annual Meeting of the Membership which is scheduled for Thursday, September 13 at 6 p.m. in the Wetumpka Civic Center boardroom. Please join us as we celebrate the successes of this last year and make plans for a great year ahead. Thank you!
